Halloween Dinner

Every year on Halloween, my Mom would make us dinner in a pumpkin before we'd head out for trick or treating. I loved having such a fun dinner, and fun tradition to look forward to each year. I've found a lot of fun ideas for Halloween dinner online lately, here are some of my favorites. Some of them look so real, I don't know if I could actually eat them!

Jack-O'-Lantern Chicken Taco Cups from Pillsbury

How real does this look??? Meatloaf hand from Not Martha

Jack-O'-Lantern Pizza from Betty Crocker

These Jello blood worms from The Idea Room make me squirm!

Spider Web Nachos from While He Was Napping.

Could you stomach these puff pastry intestines from Canary Girl?

Spider Bread from Red Couch Recipes, my Mom used to make this too! :)

Happy Halloween Everyone!

  1. What recipe for dinner in a pumpkin did your mom make? I tried a delicious one in college and haven't been able to find it since.

  2. Thank you for featuring the spider bread! I have made this for years for my children and it wouldn't seem like Halloween without it. Joni
